Today we all went to the airport to see Bryan off for a 6 month deployment. Trey doesn't understand when we tell him that Uncle Bryan is going away to "fight the bad guys". I think in part because we say the same of Mike's work and Mike comes home every night. The boys stayed up late to make Bryan the best "we'll miss u" sign ever. They were so proud to show him their artwork that next morning.

Nope,he doesn't understand. Tonight we went to Aunt Cathy's house for another one of her delicious meals. The boys got to see and talk to Uncle Byran on Sykpes. Treybo looked so concerned and asked Uncle Bryan why he wasn't in his house and was bummed when Uncle Bryan told him that was his house. I can't imagine Trey's dismay when his Uncle doesn't show up to his pirate birthday party in April. Poor little buddy! They say kids don't have a good sense of time...6 months just may seem like an eternity in this instance. Stay safe Uncle Bryan ~ we love you!
