The Poet-Life in a poem

Tell me this is not the coolest thing yet?! A complete stranger happened upon the article that was written about Trey in the Arizona Republic back in September 2008 and was moved enough to write a poem for Trey and have it be a part of his newly published book, titled, The Poet-Life in a Poem. Mr. Anthony Figueroa created a "treasure" for us, for Trey, for all to read and we are beyond moved by his gesture and the words he wrote to reflect his feelings about what Trey endures and the hand he was delt. Anthony also added pictures to some of his poems, ours being one of them. The sketch that Mr. Wayne Berg drew for the book was taken right from that day's article, of Trey and myself laying in the hospital bed as he received his very first infusion (for the misdiagnosis). We can't thank you enough Mr. Figueroa for including us in your book...you truly are a TREASURE!
